ABOUT ABOUT

Forest Therapy Walks are based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku which was developed in the 1980s in response to a health crisis called "Karoshi" aka "Death by overwork."

These walks have many scientifically proven health benefits both physical and mental. A regular walk practice can benefit you just like attending a gym or yoga class on a regular basis.

A guide such as myself, is beneficial as it allows you to partake in the invitations without the stress of worrying about time or what to do next. In turn, allowing you to have a more relaxed and beneficial practice.

This walk is at the Cornelia & Florence Bridge Nature Preserve in Shohola PA. Walks take place rain or shine. Please bring a camp stool/chair or sitting pad.  Please dress appropriatly for the weather.
